How do I sign up to the Global Care Charity Mobile Phone Plan and what does it mean?
The Charity Mobile Plan (CMP) is powered by a great partnership between Global Care, Network Communications, and Optus. You can get the latest phone, be on the best plans Optus have to offer, keep your existing mobile number and support Global Care financially at the same time.
How does the CMP work?
- Sign up or renew your existing Optus plan with Network Communications. Go to charityplan.com.au for more information and a store locator.
- Ask the Sales person to Select Global Care as your preferred charity.
- Network Communications will then donate 5% of your monthly mobile bill to the work of Global Care. This doesn’t cost you anything extra but makes a huge difference for Global Care and the people we help.

* The Charity Mobile Plan is only available through Network Communications. You must connect to a valid Optus Post-Paid plan to be eligible to connect to the CMP. Optus wireless broadband is excluded.
Primarily a volunteer organisation, Global Care has around 2000 active volunteers each week, helping around 10,000 people each day. The Organisation has full Gift Deductible Recipient (DGR) Status and is also a Public Benevolent Institution. Global Care is funded through donations from the public and a small corporate partnership base.
