National Others Week is a week focused on kindness. It runs from the first Sunday in November and goes for the week. The Global Care Team from Mt Isa Christian Outreach Centre started doing acts of kindness during National Others Week 2016 and have continued into January 2017, the response has been so enormous.
The Mt Isa Team have been cleaning up people’s yards for them and have been amazed at the response, which has included the Mayor of Mt Isa coming on board to provide support, the police becoming involved as advocates and businesses and other community groups lending their support to the kindness movement.
Global Care National Director Peter Pilt says this is clear evidence of the power of kindness to connect a church to the local community.
We will let the photos tell the rest of the story.
