Global Care Helps the People of the Tweed Valley

One of the hardest areas that were hit by the aftermath of Cyclone Debbie was the Tweed Valley. Many houses were swamped by the Tweed River as it struggled to handle the absolute deluge of rain.

Global Care immediately started making plans to help the people in the Tweed Valley in the cleanup. Over the last week, there have been over 80 volunteers on the ground, cleaning away the mud and river debris, feeding people, being a listening ear, and generally doing whatever it takes to carry some of the burden for people doing it tough.

It was also a great opportunity for the Global Care Grill n Graze BBQ trailer to be put to work alongside the Global Care Disaster Response Unit.

We will let the Pictures tell the story.
