National Others Week 2018: Loving on the Locals

A group of young adults and children from CityHOPE Church Beenleigh loved on their locals with intentional kindness during National Others Week.  Just for laughs they called it “Lawnmower Stalking”!  But at the core of the idea was to love on the locals in a practical way.  The team of Global Care volunteers looked for people out in their yards mowing lawns, to offer their assistance in any way.  Locals were given free chilled bottles of water to quench their thirst on a hot sunny day.  The day also presented an opportunity to help a couple who’s car had broken down on the side of the road.  A wonderful sense of kindness in action was felt by all.
