National Others Week 2018: The Sweet Taste of Kindness

Beenleigh and Holmview McDonald’s patrons were in for a lovely treat during National Others Week, as their meals were paid in full by CityHOPE Church Beenleigh Global Care volunteers.  The group of musicians from CityHOPE Church worship team rallied together in their Global Care shirts to make a sweet impact on their community.  The buzz in the atmosphere was felt by all at the local McDonald’s stores as patrons were offered complimentary soft serve ice creams, free freshly brewed coffee and entire meals paid in full.  Young families were blown away by the generosity of having their entire families meals paid for.  Senior citizens meeting for leisurely coffee were touched by the act of kindness, as their coffees, teas and scones were purchased for them.  Free soft serves were available to all which added to the sweet kindness in the atmosphere for the day!
